The forms are subtle, rich and evocative. Blending figurative image with abstract form, the work is either built in a lustrous black high fired clay, or white stoneware, which accepts that delicate blending of gray, black, and white from the sawdust firing. Some pieces are highlighted with metallic glaze, red copper oxide or acrylic paint. |
